About the Author:

My first anime memory is my mother getting me a toy Psyduck because my cousins were obsessed with Pokemon and she believed that I should like Pokemon as well to be like the other kids. The rest of my journey is a regrettable history of denouncing anime and returning to anime then denouncing anime once more only to return to swear eternal fealty to anime in a more pitiable state.

I hosted an anime and otaku culture podcast called Otaku Melancholy with my super best friend forever Audrey for four years of on and off enjoyment and am now the host of another anime podcast Anime Brothers with my Maine man Earthworm. I hope you’ll check those out and maybe read this blog whenever you remember to but I won’t hold it against you if you forget because I most assuredly will probably neglect this thing in a year or two.
